Was Jesus Gay? Why the Hell Does It Matter?

Could Jesus have been gay? There’s nothing in the Bible that explicitly addresses his sexual orientation. However, the evidence is clear: twelve close, male friends and never openly involved with a woman. There was only speculation about Mary Magdalene. As far as we know, he wasn’t even interested in women.
The main question, though, is…Why would it matter? Would it affect your life now any differently if you're a Christian?
His focus and message was love, so it didn’t matter what his sexual orientation was.
Since there’s just as much evidence to show Jesus could have been gay, as he was straight, and you still worship and adore him (Supposedly); Why not use this opportunity to acknowledge sexual orientation isn’t important when considering the worth of a human being.

Maybe apply this when vacillating over taking the civil rights of gay and trans people. What if these were the people of my Lord and Savior (like Jews)? What if He had to bear that secret as well? It would have been quite a burden during his time.
I can just hear the fundamentalists now, “Jesus didn’t sin!” OMG. Always with the sin,sin,sin,sin.SSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN. Holy shit. This has been ingrained in me since I was six years old.
One thing Protestants and Catholics have in common is that we are worth nothing because we sin. This is what I think. We’re all worth the same to God regardless. But because it’s difficult to control our emotions and therefore, actions, we are worth less to the world. As soon as we learn to control this about ourselves, we can be worth something more. And we essentially do this for others. Putting others first gives us our worth. Jesus taught this, but so do other religions.
Christianity is based on the fact humans do bad things to each other. It actually thrives on that fact. Come to church, repent of your sin, pay your 10%, and you will feel worthwhile again. Until next Sunday.

The writers of the Bible had quite the business plan in mind. A book used to control scores of different people, causing them to be marginalized. Allowing one patriarchal group to stay on top and control the masses. And do it tax free!
What’s funny is these standards that caused the marginalization were based on natural human traits: gender, race, mental ability, hormones, sexual orientation.
The male patriarchy was also able to decide what they liked in the Bible and what they didn’t like. They liked sleeping with 12 yr old girls and collecting their 10% tax, I mean tithe. Being gay was something they didn’t like. God told them (Supposedly) and so they could use “Cuz God told me so, that’s why.” Just like the excuse, little sister gave, for stealing "shot gun" in the station wagon.
Don't accept words just because they were printed. Those words were changed, manipulated, revised and edited in the bigoted and mysogynistic fraternity of translation.
