Zera Coffee: Coffee with a Cause (Denton, TX)
I have actually been a frequenter of Zera Coffee for several years. On my first visit, I met a girlfriend for a cup of Joe and discovered they're about so much more than the product. As a newly sober person at the time, their cause really hit home.

Black Rock Coffee Bar (Southlake, TX)
Safe and different at the same time. You'll find the same business model as Starbucks here. But with a Texas twist; at least aesthetically.

Enjoy a simple and modern take from this coffee house experience. Describing this store as simple is definitely a plus in this case.

The Perc (Lewisville, TX)
This cute coffee house has done it's job. It seems like whenever The Perc was renovated into downtown Lewisville, the traffic definitely increased around the space. It's also connected to Relic Roasters inside Main Street Mercantile. So, not only can you meet a friend, and have the choice of a comfy chair, but you can shop for gourmet coffee, food and high-end home goods. Definitely not the "cookie cutter" boutique merchandise.
